My husband is calling May, Arctic Summer. One minute it is warm enough for shorts next we are reaching for woollen coats. As you can see we had a bit of both while I was taking this weeks shots.

It is transitional still for sure but it is so good to see colour, floaty dresses and shorts again even if it is with cosy tights and jumpers. Bring it on. These are part of my weekly Street Chic for Vogue. You can use this link to see more.

Out and about....Prada and Mary Quant

Mary Quant/Prada flower can anyone see any real difference between the two? I love it but to me it is the Mary Quant flower. I wonder how she feels about it. It is worn here by Francesca Burns from Vogue. I have to say my editors are shy and I rarely get to photograph them. On the other hand it is part of the brief of some of my other streetstyle compatriots to ensure they photograph their own editors as they come and go to the shows. I am very lucky to have the freedom to shoot whoever I want (if they let me :). I am shooting again at the Vogue Festival on the 27th and 28th of April. Hope to see you there.

London which is normally a wonderfully multicultural city has just exploded with an even more diverse population. So far the London Olympics has been running smoothly (except for a lot of empty seats.....). There are a lot of people on the streets and there is a lovely atmosphere out there. And luckily it is mostly dry, so far. Hope you enjoy the pictures. To see more of my shots for Vogue click here.

Out and about....a month in the city

From Fashionistable

Those of you who have been following me for a while will have met the wonderful Rosalind from Clothes, Camera's and Coffee before. If this is the first time you are meeting her I urge you to follow the link and check out her blog you will be very glad you did. Last year (while she was still 16) Rosalind won the Vogue Talent Competition 2011. Part of her prize is to work for Vogue for a month, we met for lunch today and she is certainly enjoying her time there. There are great things ahead for Rosalind, watch this space, no, actually watch this one.
Today for work she wore a dress by Lazzari, vintage shirt and shoes and is carrying a bag that used to belong to her grandma. All her accessories are also vintage.
Thank you for your lovely thoughts re my camera. They replaced the shutter beautifully and as you can see I am happily up and running again. Love Dvora Xxxx

Still in Henley for today's post, what an elegant way to travel. If the landscape wasn't so very English you could almost imagine yourself on the Italian lakes, well I could. I am also able to bring you the images I shot there for Vogue's Street Chic which you can see here.

Out and about....Royal Ascot

From Fashionistable
From Fashionistable
I was at Ladies Day at Ascot yesterday with Vogue. Even though it rained occasionally, it was still warm enough to go most of the day without a coat. It was cardy on and off. I had to buy a hat that meant I could still take pictures without taking it on and off all the time. It was a great day and was wonderful to see everyone in all their finery. Isn't it fun to get dressed up now and again. By the end of the day I was beginning to feel I was at a huge wedding. To see my shots from the day click here - there are 30 of them so you get a good flavour of how it looked, to me anyway.
